• Once added to the ‘basket’ the user is taken to the ‘shopping basket’ page where they will see the products they have added during the session (their visit to the site)
• At the ‘shopping basket’ page the user can confirm the price and proceed to checkout, increase the quantity, remove the product altogether from the ‘basket’ or continue shopping with the intent to add more products to the ‘basket’
• If the user clicks ‘checkout’ they will be taken across to Pay Pal in a new browser window
• The parameters from the order will be passed to Pay Pal and the user will confirm payment
• A header graphic or logo can be positioned at this point to indicate to the user that they are still in the right place to complete their transaction
• After payment the user will get sent confirmation from Pay Pal and the website owner will also be sent an email of the order
• Largely, it will be down to the website owner to check their Pay Pal account regularly to monitor sales, History and Ordering activity
