Creative Venom produce graphic design for businesses in Kent and the South East. We have just been working with a one-man-band business who have just launched their luxury home-made cake making business.
Creative Venom were responsible for the Food Art. Cake Flyers, Design Kent Businesses, Luxury Cakes and Sweets – Graphic Design Kent.
It was our job to invent the whole look and feel – the visual identity and branding Kent. We started looking at a suitable logo design. We wanted it to be classical, elaborate without becoming illegible. Below is the chosen route for logo design, flyer design (front and back) and business card. The design is consistent and follows a set theme defined by us. The deep cherry purple became a default colour and house style for the brand with other colours that would follow later to communicate the variety of cakes and their indulgent fillings. This series of exercises gave us enough graphical source material to pave the way for a website design Kent which we are now working on. We also came up with a series of enticing straplines and descriptions for each variety of cake so that the client had all the marketing ammunition possible at this stage of the project and launch of their new business.
