The first element of this process to get right is the logo or logotype. These can vary in complexity but essentially simple is best and most effective. Creative Venom have recently designed a suite of stationery for MODOX Construction. We were responsible for name generation, brand creation and identity evolvement. We are now in the throws of translating the printed branding to the web. This will soon see the launch of a website of which the new identity will be reinforced, and some components may be creatively used to add interest.

The typeface chosen was Amplitude. Originally released in 2003, Amplitude derives inspiration from the “ink traps” found in typefaces designed for printing at small sizes on absorbent newsprint. Traditionally, these notches help prevent letter forms from filling in with ink, but Its designer, Schwartz adapted the technique to create a dramatic effect at large display sizes. Consequently this translates well as vehicle signage and livery. The face will work well around the building site when it appears on hoarding and building wrap etc.

Creative Venom have been working with a Beauty Spa located in Faversham Kent in producing Professional Business Stationery. The Task involved re-branding; creating a Logo Design Kent and then producing a design for Letterheads and Compliments Slips. The Graphic Design is important to get right; The imagery and the typography. It was also left up to us to invent a strap-line which could be used in the immediate and perpetual advertising that would follow Online and in Press.

Inspiration was taken from the actual interior of the spa. At the end of the swimming pool was a very high arched ceiling with a very distinctive contour and outline. This become the shape taken for the logo above the wording ‘Spa’ and has lead to other creative ideas such as the design for the rubber stamp and boxes on the Loyalty Card. Creative Venom will be working with the Spa on a Website Design Kent and various other pieces of Online and Offline media and advertising. We will also be devising a method of dividing the Brochure Design Kent up so that the design can be slightly more tailored to a male audience along with the treatments and products which relate.

Creative Venom produce graphic design for businesses in Kent and the South East. We have just been working with a one-man-band business who have just launched their luxury home-made cake making business.

Creative Venom were responsible for the Food Art. Cake Flyers, Design Kent Businesses, Luxury Cakes and Sweets – Graphic Design Kent.

It was our job to invent the whole look and feel – the visual identity and branding Kent. We started looking at a suitable logo design. We wanted it to be classical, elaborate without becoming illegible. Below is the chosen route for logo design, flyer design (front and back) and business card. The design is consistent and follows a set theme defined by us. The deep cherry purple became a default colour and house style for the brand with other colours that would follow later to communicate the variety of cakes and their indulgent fillings. This series of exercises gave us enough graphical source material to pave the way for a website design Kent which we are now working on. We also came up with a series of enticing straplines and descriptions for each variety of cake so that the client had all the marketing ammunition possible at this stage of the project and launch of their new business.
