Phoenix Performing Arts have been working with Creative Venom Graphics Design Agency in Kent for several years. This year we were responsible for designing a Theatre Production Poster for the high energy production of Footloose at the Gulbenkian Theatre Graphic Design Canterbury Kent.

The process started at Creative Venom’s Graphic Design studio located in Whitstable Kent for Graphic and website Designer Kent.

A few hours for a photo shoot Kent allowed us to create all the necessary raw source material for the elements of the poster. This was primarily the characters. Each character was shot in their personalised and chracterised stance. This way we could stay true to the story and bring some realism to the finished poster. The poster was made up of some interesting textures and lighting that were knitted together in Photoshop where all the post production effects were added. We particular like the industrial feel towards the top of the poster and the mult-dimensions that the different characters create. The logo needed to be bold and colourful as well as portray some of the personality traits from the rider himself. Over a week the logo was realised and the rider is now in the process of getting this logo printed on all appropriate merchandise. This identity will help the rider build his profile and fan base as a rider and give him an unforgettable and distinguished look out on the track.

This Flyer, designed by Creative Venom design agency for Kent, London and States was an advanced design boasting many graphical techniques and skills with montage and composition. All images were supplied as regular bog-standard photographs which had to be carefully cut out and spliced together in a particular arrangement. Time was taken to source the correct backgrounds and textures for the piece. Lastly a well chosen filter was applied over the finished artwork to give it an etched and slightly worn vibe. This was just the mood the client wanted and was thrilled with the end result. Lastly we looked at an in-your-face logo. We went for it with a ‘Relentless’ inspired typeface and added all the flashes and bling on Photoshop to make the logo stand up and be counted. Creative Venom is really proud of this particular piece and hope that more work from the particular client continues as the artist themselves grow too in popularity.
